Fear Mongering 24/7 by Kyle Gerst

Fear…. Fear….. Fear. that paralyzing pit in your stomach. That moves down

your nerves like a freight train.Fear is what forces us to seek safety and

comfort. More often than not fear just makes things more uncomfortable. We

live in uncertain times. In fact we have always lived in uncertain times. Yet

most people want certainty. Advertisers know this so they promote this idea

to the masses. And the masses eat it up. When you look at the news what do

you see. I know when i flip it on all i see is murders and crimes. Is that

suppose to be comforting? The thought that the moment you walk outside

that someone is going to shoot you. I hear my family talk about the good old

days. The days when children played outside. When they got real birds angry

instead of playing angry birds on there phones. The days when could walk all

over town and there was no danger of meeting a stranger. Now we live in a

world surrounded by paranoia. But hey look at the bright side at least we can

look forward to baseball games. Go Teaxas Rangers

Just A Few Thoughts…

A reflecting outlook of my past year experience being on my own.

I just realized something, I have been in this Apartment for a whole friggin year!!!! WOW!!!! I don’t even know where to begin, I have become a man in this span of time. I have set goals for my future on a mass scale, I have taught myself discipline more than anyone else probably could have back home. I have grown leaps and bounds because of this experience, and using a word like self reliance truly defines what this has become for me. This is what anger does folks, and don’t let anyone ever tell you that you can’t make something happen using it. Acting on being just absolutely fed up with not going anywhere, or doing anything. But I guess for all that time, I only had myself to blame. I have become a caretaker, and have fell in love with an animal more than I ever thought possible. I didn’t need help!! I did this on my own!!! And I can say that with all the pride in the world in myself. I am emotional writing this, but it just needed to be said. I thank you all for allowing me to share it with you, and hope for more opportunity’s to do so in the coming years.

Rick’s Star Trek Blog #4: Star Trek Chronology (Outdated)

Contributor: Rick McGimpsey

For a better revised version click here

This took me several hours to compile, but it was worth the effort. What you are about to read is a complete list of every episode and film of Star Trek. What makes this list different from others is that each episode and movie is ranked according to where it is placed in the Star Trek timeline. Thus the first entry is going to be Star Trek: Enterprise Episode 1: Broken Bow where the NX-1 had its first mission and the last entry is going to be Star Trek Beyond which is an upcoming movie set after Star Trek Into Darkness.
I have decided not to include expanded universe stuff like books, comics, and video games because they lack canonicity and would make the list extremely tedious. However, Star Trek Online is on the list because it follows the canon (as far as I can tell) extremely well and seems almost definitive in Star Trek lore despite being a video game.
Most of the series I have divided season by season, however I did not do this with DS9 and VOY because the overlapping of the episodes made it too arduous. DS9 and VOY as a result are being treated as a whole rather than seven season TV shows.

As most Trekkies know around the end of TNG the episodes began overlapping with other shows. TNG overlapped with DS9 and DS9 overlapped with VOY. I have tried my best to overcome confusion here and I hope I was successful. I have also taken the liberty of listing TOS in the original production order so episodes will be ranked much different than how they were aired.
I hope you enjoy using this list as much as I did making it.

Avengers Age Of Ultron “Short N Sweet Review”

So many epic moments, but the ones that stood out for me. All featured The Vision, couldn’t have gotten a better person to play him then PB!!! Cap establishing himself as the true leader!! Even though we all knew that’s how it would go. I’m glad they gave Barton a spotlight, it was well deserved. Ultron, he was better than I could have ever written him. Marvel finally addresses the trash villains Ape in the room. And also they gave us team work, flawless team work!! And even in dire straights the good guys found a way!! Which isn’t that why we love them? I think Civil War and Infinity War will give us something different though, what is a Hero without his honor? What happens when you face a challenge you can’t beat? Death itself will make its presence felt, and it’s how they deal with that, that will ultimately determine a legacy. I still need Marvel to make me feel real casualties. And until they do that, nothing they do can or will be perfected. And just to make it clear, I’m speaking on Civilian death. I gave the first Avengers an 8.5, overall I felt AOU was a better cinematic experience. So it gets a 9 for just that by itself, it beats out Winter Solider by a very miniscule margin. So, to date it is my favorite Marvel Studios project
