The Hunter And The Prey

The Jackal, it surges throughout the engulfed brush. Chasing the rabbit that was curious, enough to wander into uncharted quarters. Blatantly taunting, not even paying single thought to what is behind. Frustratingly the dog snarls, sniffing the brisk air as it tracks the small steps. What is to be outdone by the hare, certainly its skill was more heightened than that? All the while, the fowl awaits both as they foolishly scurry making a ruckus below. He flaps his wings, pressing downward towards them. They were not aware of the danger above them, the fowls advantage was the high ground. Always know of the third, for it is in the moment you feel most secure that your judgement come’s.
